Career Weighted OPS Percent Difference Regular v. WS: 133 players.

See the previous posts.  The criteria here: plate appearances (PA) >= 75 or number of World Series (WS) >= 5.  On Base Plus Slugging (OPS) averages are compared, WS v. regular season with regular season as base.  Here is the equation: OPS - OPSws / OPS.

To see the data click this link.  Gone from the data in the previous post on 343 players with only 40 PA in more than one WS is Dave Winfield, second from the bottom.  Continuing to dominate is Reggie Jackson.  Note a player mentioned over the years in this blog as being clutch: Bobby Richardson, number 10 with plus 10.9% in 138 PA and 5 WS as a starter.

Jackson played two of his five WS with the Yankees.  Yankees in the top 20: Martin, Gehrig, Woodling, Richardson, Brosius, Tresh, Skowron (one of 8 WS with Dodgers).
