500 Home Runs but no MVP.

Second baseman Frankie Frisch and pitcher Lefty Grove won the first modern Most Valuable Player (MVP) awards in 1931.  Both are in the Hall of Fame but neither are among the 25 players who hit 500 home runs (HR), 18 of whom won the MVP award at least once.
