Same On Base Average for two players but one is clearly more valuable.

Sometimes we think we don't care how a players creates an On Base Average.  Consider these two examples:

HABBBBAOBA
1505001000.3000.417
1254751250.2630.417

Even if the 25 extra hits in the top example are all singles, those hits can drive in runs, which makes them more valuable than the extra 25 walks in the second example.

It's not at all clear which is more valuable. What are their slugging averages? What is the context?
