Alex Rodriguez gets 211 game suspension. Say what?

New York Yankee website:

Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced today that third baseman Alex Rodriguez of the New York Yankees has been suspended without pay ... for attempting to cover-up his violations of the Program by engaging in a course of conduct intended to obstruct and frustrate the Office of the Commissioner's investigation...  will cover 211 Championship Season games and any 2013 Postseason games

Why test?  Why not just ask them?  Then when they deny, suspend them 200 games for frustrating the commissioner?  We don't want Buddy to be frustrated.

You can't make up stuff like this.  The other dirty dozen players each copped to 50 game suspensions.

As mentioned in the previous post pitcher Ian Kennedy was suspended one start for precipitating a brawl by hitting two batters in the head in one game against the Dodgers on June 11.
