New commissioner should protect A-Rod.

I had already heard about this on the MBL Network:

Alex Rodriguez Admits to Doping in Bosch Case, Report Says
By STEVE EDERNOV. 5, 2014  The New York Times

There was a panel discussion, which amazingly included speculation about whether pitchers would use Alex Rodriguez for target practice.  As appalling as his behavior has been, nothing warrants a pitcher intentionally firing baseballs at another player as Ryan Dempster did to Alex Rodriguez in 2013.

The Dempster hits Rodriguez game: let's give people grades.  Wednesday, August 21, 2013

Alex Rodriguez: A+

Ryan Dempster: F

Joe Girardi: B

90% of Red Sox lynch mob: F

Allan Huber "Bud" Selig: F

Coward Ryan Dempster should be suspended 211 games for deliberately hitting Alex Rodriguez.  Monday, August 19, 2013

Ryan Dempster is a coward and thug...   With obvious malice and premeditated planning Dempster deliberately threw pitches at Rodriguez multiple times in his first plate appearance in last night's Yankee game in Boston.

The new commissioner, Rob Manfred, was the executioner for the current commissioner, Allan Huber "Bud" Selig.  Now there is more of an indication that Rodriguez did what they charged and for which he has paid dearly.  That should be the end to it.  No more vigilante acts should be tolerated.  Get over it and get on with the season.  Commissioner Manfred can send a clear message that there is a change in administration and that he can be magnanimous and fair.
