What the heck kind of move was it to remove starter R.A. Dickey with two out in the 5th and Toronto leading 7-1. Price pitched worse and now Price is not available to pitch in game five. Had Price not been used unnecessarily, then Price could pitch game five on full rest.
Supposedly the Cardinals plan to start 36 year old John Lackey on short rest in game 4 against the Cubs to avoid elimination. Managers seem to be panicking even more than usual.

And in game three against the Dodgers last night Met starter Matt Harvey allowed 3 runs in the second inning for a 3-0 deficit, which could have been worse had David Wright not caught a line drive at third base for out number three; out two was the Dodger pitcher. Harvey lasted 5 innings, allowing only those 3 runs.
