MLB Network "experts" irrational about Astros, along with every player who has spoken.

On the MLB Network MLB Now program, all four experts, including former pitcher Dan Plesac (1986-2003), piled onto the quotes of players that the Astros stealing signs made them way better. Even the PECOTA expert. Plesac thought the Astros were impossible to get out.

Not one so far in four months has had the basic common sense to do what I did: look at the home/road splits of the Astros 2017-2019.  The Astros only cheated at home. Not one noticed that none of the Astros hit like Mike Trout (career OPS+ 176) much less like Barry Bonds (career OPS+ 182). Not even at home.

It's bizarre.

Yesterday Eric Byrnes (2000-2010) on the same MLB Network indicated that he had inside information that the Astros did not steal signs in the tournament. Byrnes stated the obvious, that the Astros didn't steal every sign.

Byrnes also reiterated that he did not want to know the pitch, that he always looked for the fastball, which he got 60% of the time. Byrnes expressed that as being right 60% of the time and even then not able to hit every pitch as pretty much every current player seems to think. There are many stories of batters being unable to hit pitchers who were tipping their pitches.

None of the current players are thinking at all. Not at all. It's all emotion. They're irrational. Look at actual Astros data:
