It took a while but I finally found a link with the the details of the votes for one of the awards at mlb.com:

Last night I was watching a TV program on MLB Network and they were interviewing the players they considered the top three candidates for the National Conference (NC) Cy Young award as the best pitcher in 2012. I had already seen this for rookie of the year and I guess they're doing it for MVP also.
Funny thing: the three NC pitchers interviewed finished 1,2,3 in the voting. Has that been the case for the other interview programs and, if so, was MLB Network just making clever/lucky guesses or did MLB Network already now know the results, including who finished second and third?
Just wondering.
