During last night's game Yankee announcer Michael Kay said that he had interviewed Pete Rose and asked what Rose thought about Ichiro Suzuki possibly breaking Rose's record for most hits and becoming the hit king. Kay said that Rose paused then said that Sadaharu Oh was not the home run king.
Refreshing and surprising eloquence from Rose. He nailed it.
