Would living Hall of Fame players admit Pete Rose?
Mike Schmidt has spoken in favor of Pete Rose but I don't know of any others.
Dennis Eckersley on Pete Rose: “People are sick of it”. Sunday, January 10, 2016
Dennis Eckersley was asked about Pete Rose’s Hall of Fame candidacy ...
He had his chance. No one wants him there. No one. Just all the fans from Cincinnati. All the players know. You do not break that rule, the end.”

Check the list and decide for yourself. I doubt that Rose would get many, if any, votes other than Schmidt's. Not even from Joe Morgan, Vice Chairman of the Hall of Fame Board of Directors since 2000 and a Board member since 1994, or from Johnny Bench. I think Eckersley hit the nail on the head, even though he's in as a relief pitcher.
