Yesterday at 4:00 PM both New York teams were on TV, plus St. Louis was playing Arizona. I had two TVs with games on and it still was BORING.
Batters have returned to walking around between pitches, including turning their backs on home plate without a hint of them asking the umpire for time. They waste time with impunity.
And the Oakland pitching coach visited his starting pitcher three times that I noticed. No rush, either. Weren't they supposed to waddle a little faster.
Manfred, the A-Rod Slayer, your product is deteriorating. Do something. You suck. A lot.
Pace of play! Remember? Way back, a year ago? The media types forgot, too. Or they're so bored also that they no longer notice.
Stimulating, provocative, sometimes whimsical new concepts that challenge traditional baseball orthodoxy. Note: Anonymous comments will not be published. Copyright Kenneth Matinale
