Pete Alonso will be 4th Met to hit 40 home runs.

Met rookie Pete Alonso will be only the fourth Met to hit at least 40 home runs in a season. Alonso hit his 39th homer tonight in Atlanta, which tied the National League rookie record set by Dodger Cody Bellinger in 2017. Two of them were catchers.
