Here was a specific individual victim whose MLB career ended on a fateful day at the hands of the Houston Astros.
Except, the game was played in Arizona, not Houston, where the Astros did their cheating 2017-2019 according to anything revealed so far. Also, the other Arizona pitchers in that same game pitched well. So either the Astros stopped cheating after they had bombed starter Medlen out of the game or they were not cheating that day or such cheating is not the sure thing hysterical people think it is.
Freeman has played ten years (2010-2019) with the Atlanta Braves, the last nine as their regular first baseman. Medlen started his MLB career with those same Braves: 2009-2013; tournament 2012 and 2013. By 2013 Medlen had finally become a starting pitcher in the Braves rotation: 15-13, 197 innings, 3.11 ERA. However, Medlen became injured and did not pitch in MLB in 2014.
Medlen pitched for Kansas City 2015 and 2016: 58 and 24 innings. In 2015 Medlen pitched in ALCS and WS for KC.
In 2017 Medlen rejoined the Braves organization and pitched 116 innings for their minor league teams, including AAA: ERA 4.95.
In 2018 Medlen pitched 34 innings for the Arizona Diamondbacks AAA minor league team (ERA 5.03) and one game in MLB for Arizona:

Medlen had worked his way back to MLB for his third comeback chance. In hindsight, it looks like his one and only final chance. Freddie Freeman thinks the Astros robbed Medlen of a legitimate opportunity by cheating ... on the road. Again, the cheating allegations have been that the Astros cheated at home in Houston.
The date of Medlen's final game was May 4, 2018. Medlen had plenty of time to pitch again that year. Since Medlen was only 32 years old, he could have pitched again in 2019 at age 33. Medlen could pitch in 2020 at age 34.
Freddie Freeman was so upset about this that he didn't even bother to check the basic fact that the Astros were on the road. And that Medlen was the only one of three Arizona pitchers in that game who pitched badly. MLB Network didn't check either, which is much more inexcusable.
