Ruth and Aaron were born one day apart in February, Aaron in the 15th and final season that Ruth played for the Yankees.
Aaron and Gehrig share the same first and middle names. I had checked this previously but could find nothing to indicate that Aaron was named after Gehrig. In Aaron's birth year, Gehrig achieved the AL triple crown, leading in HR, RBI, BA but finishing 5th in MVP:
