Yankee center fielder Aaron Hicks (31 years old) told his manager, Aaron Boone, that he was too upset about a 20 year old black guy getting accidentally shot by a police officer in Minnesota while resisting arrest by trying to drive away. The police officer repeatedly called out "taser" but mistakenly fired her gun one time. The guy drove into another car and died.
Boone should have told Hicks to either suck it up and play or go home without pay and await action by the Yankees. Some police officers have been shot in recent days in various locations. Hicks was able to play through those incidents.
The leading cause of death among young white men in the U.S. is accidents.
The leading cause of death among young black men in the U.S. is homicide ... mostly by other young black men.
Maybe the MLB commissioner should have moved the All Star game again. Alert Coca-Cola!
Woke madness: 2021 All Star game moved out of Atlanta, Georgia. Coward commissioner capitulates almost immediately. Friday, April 2, 2021
Rational thought dies a little bit more each day with no end in sight.
