In yesterday's fifth consecutive loss Yankee center fielder Aaron Hicks made at least three fielding mistakes: misjudged a short fly and then bobbled it, then bobbled another ball; both times a runner took advantage.
Hicks is not hitting, especially batting lefty against righty pitchers:

Mike Tauchman bats lefty. At the very least, the Yankees could platoon Hicks and Tauchman. And Tauchman will field well and run the bases well (pinch ran and stole two bases in one inning). Oh, and outfielder turned terrible first baseman Jay Bruce retired from the Yankees at age 34 after playing ten games.
Aaron Hicks, you abandoned your teammates because of someone you never knew. More woke madness. Tuesday, April 13, 2021
