Aaron Judge, go to Yankee Stadium monument park immediately after hitting Home Runs 60 and 61 to pay brief tribute to Ruth and Maris.

Aaron Judge has 59 Home Runs after 146 games and his Yankees are home tonight to play the National League Pittsburgh Pirates.

60 Home Runs would tie Judge with Babe Ruth.

61 Home Runs would tie Judge with Roger Maris.

Both Ruth and Maris reached those season totals playing for the New York Yankees.

The Stadium should be packed and rocking tonight, rooting for Judge to make new Yankee records.

Aaron Judge is the face of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has a chance to become the third Yankee to achieve the triple crown: lead the league in the same season in Home Runs, Runs Batted In (RBI) and Batting Average (BA). Judge currently leads in Home Runs and RBI and he's closed to within a point in BA.

Batting Average
1.Arraez • MIN.317
2.Bogaerts • BOS.316
3.Judge • NYY.316
4.Abreu • CHW.309
5.Lowe • TEX.308
6.Alvarez • HOU.304
7.Benintendi • 2TM.304
8.Gimenez • CLE.298
9.Kirk • TOR.295
10.Díaz • TBR.292

Lou Gehrig in 1934 and Mickey Mantle in 1956 are the two previous Yankee triple crown batters.

There are five monuments in Yankee Stadium. They are for former manager Miller Huggins, Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio. Originally, the first three monuments were on the playing field but in the new Yankee Stadium, opened in 2009, they are now behind the center field fence, along with way too many plaques.

Aaron Judge has been playing center field a lot in 2022. So, when he returns there after hitting Home Run 60, I'd really like to see him at least go to the wall, if not actually enter monument park, and tip his cap to the Babe. And after Home Run 61, do the same for Maris.

No other team has the history for anything like that to happen. I also hope that those Home Runs do not result in an interruption in the game, just a prolonged ovation but NOT an interview.

His trip to the wall, should take Judge only a few seconds between innings and not interrupt the game. There's plenty of time for interviews etc. later.
