Constitutional amendments for team sports.
______________________
Increasingly in recent decades the integrity of Major Baseball League (MBL) games under commissioner Allen Huber "Bud" Selig has been undermined by many policies that he originated or let become worse. Under Selig there have been divisions of four teams playing 162 games, the overwhelming majority of which were played outside the division.
If a division has too few teams it will be difficult to satisfy constitutional amendment 7: Teams must play at least 66% of games in division.
Six provides five opponents and the math in the previous post shows how that provides a minimum path to 66%.
