Cumulative stats: Mantle, Mays, Aaron.

Let's take a look at the cumulative progression of BA and OPS+ for the three top hitters of the 1950s and 1960s: Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron.

Mantle's OPS+ peaked in 1964 at 177 (age 32).  Bonds had OPS+ of 162 in 1997 at age 32.  Bonds peaked at 183 in 2004 and 2005, ages 39, 40.  Bonds finished in 2007 at 182, age 42.

Both Mantle and Bonds finished with BA .298, Mantle at age 36.  Mantle's BA peaked at age 25 in 1957: .316.  Bonds peaked at .300 ages 39,40.  Bonds at age 25: .265.  Bonds at age 32: .288.

Mantle and Aaron peaked at 25, Mays at 27.  Mays missed almost all of seasons ages 21 and 22 in the Army.
