Not exactly Yankees v. Dodgers but both those teams had their chances in this year's tournament and both failed miserably in their first attempts.
Cubbies v. Metsies is not Chicago v. New York. More like Little League. Friday, October 16, 2015

Are the Mets truly a “tortured” team?
By Craig Calcaterra Oct 22, 2015, 2:45 PM EDT
Which brings us to the Mets. With the exception of the Cubs they just dispatched, I think it’s fair to say that the Mets have had more ink spilled about torture, agony and suffering than any baseball team in recent memory.

The Yankee fan friend who sent the "tortured" article mentioned that five pennants in 54 years was pretty good for an expansion team, one created after 1960. That's correct except that the Metsies are the only one of those 14 expansion teams in a big market. What, you consider Houston big market? The Angels started in Los Angeles, the City of Angels, but soon abandoned LA for Anaheim.
Behold the big bad Metsies. Let's go Metsies. Let's see how that plays.
Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown.
