BorASS. That was the boorish Met fan way of referring to agent Scott Boras who in 2015 was doing his job in protecting one of his clients, Met starting pitcher Matt Harvey.

In 2015 Met fans vilified Boras. In 2016 Met fans are booing Harvey, one of their own. Why? Because Harvey has been unsuccessful. Has Harvey been trying? Yes. Has he been diligent? Yes.

Then why boo one of your own?

Apologize to Boras. Maybe if his concerns about Harvey's recovery from major arm surgery had been treated more objectively, Harvey and Met fans would be better off in 2016.
