Striped sock, red hat bill, "New York" and number filled with stars.
Are the Yankees required to wear these clown outfits? This is the fourth outfit this season:
- mother's day (pink)
- father's day (baby blue)
- memorial day (camouflage)
- Independence day (4th of July)
I find each offensive generally and in particular because the Yankees are the only team not to substantially change their uniform, which I find classy. The Yankees are the only team to not put player names on either their home or road uniforms.
Maybe the clown clothes are the reason that Yankee GM Brian Cashman brought up the Yankees candidate for the Bozo the Clown look alike contest: Clint Frazier.
