Gleyber Torres home run rate MUCH better in majors because of JUICED baseballs.

Yankee rookie Gleyber Torres homered in each of his most recent four games, supposedly the youngest player to do that. But have some perspective. Here are his major and minor league home run rates:

AB/HR:
minors: 1,398 / 24 = 58
Yanks in 2018: 96 / 9 = 10.8

Yankees blow 10-5 lead in 1968 and 2018. Thursday, May 24, 2018

Yankee announcers are having orgasms over rookie Gleyber Torres hitting home runs in the last three games and 4 of 5 games. The number of Yankee homers in the last five games has been: 5,4,5,3,4. And the Yanks lost the last two. Torres hit five homers in those games...

... the American League would adopt the designated hitter (DH) in 1973. For the entire 1968 season the Yankees averaged 3.3 runs scored per game; AL 3.4. So far in 2018 the Yankees are averaging 5.9 runs per game; AL 4.5. The 1968 Yanks hit 109 home runs. The 2018 Yankees have 79 in 47 games, including a game suspended after six innings. So let's take it easy on the Gleyber Torres is doing better than any Yankee in history stuff.

MLB ball is different ... and JUICED. MLB is playing fans for fools.

Titleist baseballs for exceptional exit velocity and 1,000 foot Home Runs. Friday, June 23, 2017

Manfred is too inept to deal with the pace of play disaster that's devolving baseball into an historic relic, so he has the Major Baseball League using performance enhancing baseballs...

The tough part is sneaking in the changes gradually so that fans won't notice until one day: pow - 1,000 foot Home Runs.

Then once people are hooked, selling merchandise

Sanchez, Judge, Bellinger have better Home Run rates in major league than minor. Saturday, June 24, 2017

Say what? Yes, the rookie Home Run sensations of 2016 and 2017 have better HR Rates (AB/HR (lower is better)) in the Major League...

Players who previously had warning-track power might have more to gain from adding extra feet to their flies and regularly reaching that sweet spot than the elite sluggers who were already comfortably clearing the fence.

... the home run explosion hadn’t yet extended to the upper levels of the minor leagues, which use balls manufactured in China that differ from the Costa Rica–made MLB ball.
