Team season home run records set and challenged in 2019.

Two teams, Mets and Royals, both expansion teams from the 1960s, had the team season home run record set in 2019. A few weeks ago it seemed like both the Angels and Dodgers would also have new home run records. But Mike Trout is out for the season with 45, two behind the Angels record and Cody Bellinger is stuck at 45; the Dodger record is 49.

Meanwhile, the Reds record has come into play. Eugenio Suarez has surged with 28 home runs in his last 225 AB and:
July 12
August 10
September 9

Let's look at each of these teams.
