Gerrit Cole, all time Yankee pitchers I trust more than you in a big game.

Gerrit Cole had recent problems against the Red Sox:

July 7, 2022 in Fenway Park: 6 innings, 5 earned runs; had 6-2 lead but allowed a second home run to Rafael Devers: 6-5. Cole was replaced and Yanks won 6-5.

April 8, 2022 Opening day in Yankee Stadium: 4 innings, 3 earned runs in first inning; home run to Rafael Devers; Yanks won 6-5 in 11 innings.

Oct. 5, 2021 wild card game in Fenway Park: 2 innings, 3 earned runs, losing pitcher. Home runs to Bogaerts and Schwarber.
