Seventh in AB and sixth in hits. So even among elite hitters, he is above average. And only 13th in strikeouts, so better at making contact. Very impressive.
Jeter's SO to HR ratio is atrocious. Only HR hitters have more SO. Jeter had more than Mickey Mantle. What planet are you on? His ONE batting claim to fame is reaching FIRST base. OBP: .377, number 190. Hardly elite. Certainly not worthy of all the mindless self aggrandizement.
