The previous post may have seemed like it was stacked against the 2021 stats of Yankees Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton:
Yankees BB/SO & HR ratios: 2021 v. 1961: Judge & Stanton v. Mantle & Maris. Tuesday, September 14, 2021
BB team totals are in the same ballpark but SO ... Wow. Roger Maris hit 61 home runs with only 67 strike outs. And Maris famously had zero intentional BB, probably because he usually had Mickey Mantle batting right behind him. For home runs 60 and 61 Mantle was injured and on deck were Hector Lopez and Yogi Berra respectively.

So, this post will use stats for Judge and Stanton from their 50 home run seasons, both in 2017:
Judge: 52 home runs with the Yankees
Stanton: 59 home runs with the Marlins
There, that should give them a chance against the legendary M&M boys from 60 years ago: Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.
Of the four, Judge had the most BB and SO and the highest percent of PA that were SO: 30.68%.
Maris had by far the fewest SO and the lowest percent of PA that were SO: 9.60%.
Mantle had the fewest AB and PA and the best AB/HR. Maris had the best PA/HR.
Mantle swept the average stats: BA, OBP, SLG, OPS. Maris had the lowest in each of those four.
Other than Judge in BB, did Judge or Stanton have the best stat in any category ? No.
