1935-1957 New York home run leaders.

Post Babe Ruth years. After 1957 the Dodgers and Giants left for California.

Only the team leaders are shown. A team could have multiple players with more home runs than the leader of the other teams but they are not shown.

The Rank fields simply show the order: 1 or 2 or 3.

The tie fields: G or D or Y means a tie among teammates.

L is for league leader: G or D or Y.

First name is omitted for space.

Mel Ott led the Giants in home runs every year 1928-1945, which may be a record for any team.

Hi Kenneth,
Thank you for re-sending the Mickey Mantle data.
I have filed, labeled, and indexed the data in two separate locations. I hope this will prevent me from losing it again.
I notice some of the analyses you have done of Mantle’s statistics are similar to the kinds of things I like to do. Great minds . . .
Thanks again,
