Aaron Judge, captain of the New York Yankees? Yeah, right. Free agent Judge seems to have two teams and one offer. Thanksgiving was last week. What the heck is Judge doing? Supposedly, Judge wants to decide soon enough for his team to make decisions about other players. So, what's he waiting for?

Just before Thanksgiving Judge met with the Giants. Have the Giants made an offer? Beats me. The Dodgers? No indication. The Yankees? Supposedly, yes.

Maybe Aaron Judge is to much of a Californian to remain with the Yankees now that he has become the man. Mr. 62 Home Runs. Mr. MVP. Mr. season for the ages. Maybe worst of all: Captain of the New York Yankees. First and most recent Yankee captains: Lou Gehrig (Pride of the Yankees played by Gary Cooper) and Derek Jeter. Maybe Aaron Judge doesn't want that much responsibility or spotlight.

Aaron Judge was booed in Yankee Stadium when he made the final out of the tournament for the Yankees: one single in 16 At Bats against eventual World Series winner Houston Astros.

Aaron Judge will be 31 years old in April 2023.

Mike Trout is only five months older than Aaron Judge. Bryce Harper is six months younger than Aaron Judge: Born: October 16, 1992 (Age: 30-044d). Both Trout and Harper took intermediate deals. Judge did not and waited his entire six years to negotiate a new deal even though he was an old rookie at age 25. Judge may have difficulty making decisions.

That was the only season in which Maris hit at least 40 home runs. Aaron Judge may never hit at least 40 home runs again given his age and injury record.
