There are a couple of Met World Series guys: Donn Clendenon and Mookie Wilson (1986, game 6, bottom 10th: Mookie stood there as the tie run scored, then safe on error for the winning run:
Wild Pitch; Mitchell Scores; Knight to 2B
Reached on E3 (Ground Ball); Knight Scores/unER
Yeah, great moments in Met history.
Former Yankee Alfonso Soriano is on the list. He holds the Montreal/Washington franchise record for home runs in a season: 46 in 2006. In the 2001 World Series for the Yankees against Arizona in game 7: 8th, 1-1: HR: Alfonso Soriano (2, off Curt Schilling, 8th inn, 0 on, 0 outs to LF). Yanks lead 2-1. However, Mariano Rivera in bottom 9 blew the save, lost the game and World Series.
Two active players: former Yankee Starlin Castro and Alcides Escobar.
